Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
  • 10+ years of experience in creative roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position, ideally within a creative agency or fast-paced marketing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage creative teams to produce projects from concept to completion, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of impactful creative work across various channels
  • Excellent leadership and mentorship skills, with experience guiding junior creatives and fostering a collaborative team culture
  • Strong strategic vision, with the ability to translate complex ideas into compelling, brand-aligned creative concepts
  • Excellent client management skills, with experience presenting to clients and senior stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines
  • Experience working with external vendors and managing the production process for creative and content projects
  • Solid understanding of production processes for digital, print, and multimedia, and ability to manage teams through those processes

Responsibilities

  • Lead the conceptualization and execution of effective creative solutions that meet client objectives, in partnership with the Design Director, Managing Director, and Partner
  • Oversee the development of creative concepts, often breaking down highly complex industries and situations to resonate with niche, high-value audiences (including policymakers, investors, employees, etc.)
  • Develop targeted, multichannel campaigns that consider the following tactics and more: TV, radio, OOH, digital, paid social, events and activations, content sponsorships, podcasts
  • Ensure that all creative work meets client objectives and is delivered on time and within budget
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of creatives, from copywriters to designers, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment that encourages innovation and professional growth
  • Present creative concepts and deliverables to clients, effectively communicating the strategic and creative rationale behind the work
  • Stay informed about industry trends, tools, and best practices, and actively seek opportunities to innovate and enhance the team’s creative output
  • Partner with internal teams, including strategy, design, and production, to ensure cohesive storytelling and brand alignment across all creative assets
  • Partner with Creative Operations team members to manage external vendors, such as photographers, illustrators, and production companies, to ensure the successful execution of projects
  • Maintain high standards for creative excellence, reviewing and approving final deliverables to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and project requirements
