Summary
Join Vida, a virtual obesity care provider, as their Creative Director and lead a team to produce compelling creative work that engages consumers, excites enterprise partners, and strengthens their market presence. You will work closely with Marketing and Product teams to ensure a unified brand experience across all external communications. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and advocate for creative excellence. You will also be responsible for building scalable systems, streamlining processes, and ensuring the team operates efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in creative leadership, preferably in health, wellness or technology industries
- Strong experience leading and scaling creative teams, with a track record of building efficient, well-organized creative operations
- Expertise in branding, marketing campaigns and content creation across digital and traditional media
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Google Slides and project management tools (Jira, Asana, or similar)
- Experience managing creative budgets, contractors and vendor relationships
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and advocate for creative excellence
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the creative team to continuously evolve Vida’s brand identity, ensuring a consistent and compelling presence across all marketing and sales channels
- Lead and mentor the creative team, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity and high standards
- Define creative strategies that resonate with individuals seeking better health and enterprise partners investing in employee wellness
- Champion a human-centered storytelling approach, ensuring that all creative assets connect emotionally with our audience
- Lead the team to push the healthcare industry’s creative boundaries, bringing fresh, engaging ideas to a traditionally uninspiring space
- Oversee and guide member testimonial campaigns, working alongside the creative team to develop compelling success stories that build credibility and inspire engagement
- Oversee the execution of creative projects across digital marketing, advertising, print, social media and sales enablement materials
- Implement scalable workflows and tools to improve efficiency without compromising quality
- Manage project intake, ensuring requests are properly scoped, prioritized and assigned
- Own and manage the creative backlog in Jira, ensuring tasks are organized, updated and aligned with business priorities
- Manage timelines, priorities and resource allocation, ensuring deadlines are met while keeping projects aligned with brand goals
- Lead structured creative reviews, providing feedback that refines work and elevates quality
- Partner with Marketing teammates to develop high-impact campaigns that drive member engagement and business growth
- Work with Product and Clinical teams to ensure messaging and brand identity reflect Vida’s evidence-based approach to health and wellness
- Align creative strategies with business goals, ensuring every touchpoint reinforces Vida’s credibility as a leading health platform
- Research and implement new creative tools, automation solutions and AI-driven design technologies to optimize workflows
- Develop and maintain brand guidelines and scalable creative frameworks, ensuring consistency as Vida grows
- Stay ahead of design trends in healthcare, digital marketing and consumer engagement, keeping Vida at the forefront of industry innovation
- Oversee and manage creative budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation
- Manage contractors and agencies as needed
- Track and process invoices, ensuring budget adherence while maintaining creative excellence
- Negotiate vendor contracts to maximize quality and cost-effectiveness
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with a WordPress CMS is preferred
