Credit And Analytics Intern

Summary

Join Branch International as an intern and contribute to solving analytical problems across the organization. You will propose data-driven product changes to enhance customer experience and profitability, build and maintain portfolio monitoring dashboards, collaborate with various teams (Marketing, Data Science, Engineering, Security) on projects related to growth, risk mitigation, and fraud prevention. You will also develop statistical models and support other teams with their data needs. The ideal candidate possesses working knowledge of SQL and Python/R/Metabase, prior internship experience in analytics/strategy, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Requirements

• Working Knowledge in SQL and Python/R/Metabase
• Previous Internship Experience preferably in Analytics/Strategy
• Experience analyzing, visualizing and communicating impactful insights
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
• Enthusiasm for working across cultures, functions, and time zones
• You are in your Final year of College

Responsibilities

• Propose data driven product changes to improve customer experience and company profitability
• Partner with product and engineering teams to implement your solution into production
• Build and maintain portfolio monitoring dashboards to guide the business strategy for the growing lending portfolio
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to assess and evaluate existing and new channels of growth. Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and maintain a performance tracker
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis to identify underlying explanations for changes in portfolio performance, develop data-driven solutions, and evaluate expected portfolio impacts
• Collaborate with data science, product, and engineering to propose hypothesis testing to improve risk and profitability
• Work with the Security team on strategies to mitigate fraud
• Develop statistical models to assist in fraud mitigation and user segmentation for capital markets transactions and financial data analysis
• Support the marketing, Capital markets and product teams with their data needs
