Customer Service Engineer

Summary

Join our team as a Customer Service Controls Engineer and deliver service and support to end users for components and systems, utilizing superior communication skills and attention to details.

Requirements

• Have 3-5 years of experience working with fully automated conveyor and PLC control systems
• Have Help Desk experience as well as a working knowledge of high and low voltage electrical systems
• Be available to work on a Saturday or Sunday if required, to support customers, practicing exemplary punctuality
• Possess customer service skills and best practices, being willing to cooperate with others in order to serve your customers, vendors, and team
• Skillfully juggle competing priorities, adjusting effectively to schedules and job ambiguity

Responsibilities

• Be a member of the 24/7 on call team, being ready to take a call and provide remote assistance within 15 minutes of receiving a call
• Act as the primary contact for a site, visiting with customers to build and maintain positive relationships
• Communicate effectively with customers to provide information about products or services and obtain feedback, keeping records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, comments, and actions taken
• Maintain organized records of project warranties, main contacts for support, and issue warranty/service discontinuance orders
• Stay current with systems information, changes, and updates and possess knowledge of relevant software, computer applications, and equipment
• Follow up with customers, referring unresolved customer complaints to designated departments and ensuring that appropriate changes were made to resolve customers’ problems
