Join us and make a difference in the world! We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide first line service support for communications equipment deployed within the Emergency Services customer base.

Requirements

• Ability to attain SC & NPPV3 clearance
• Experience in fault finding / fixing of mobile devices
• Full, clean driving licence essential
• Working within a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure environment
• Experience in a support role in a fast paced organisation
• Strong knowledge of AD, Windows desktop/server operating systems
• Knowledge of WSUS & WDS & SEPM
• Strong PC applications skills/Experience of rolling out devices within strict deadlines
• Working within a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure environment Hyper V and Cluster administration
• Hardware test and Measurement
• Windows 7 and 10
• IP/Data Comms
• Customer Facing Skills
• Valid UK Driving licence
• Windows Server 2012, 2016 and 2019
• IP Networking
• Cisco routers and switching
• Information Security
• ITIL

Responsibilities

• Remain contactable via telephone and pager during working hours including on call hours
• Form part of the on call rota within the team
• Attend site, remain polite, courteous and professional at all times
• Comply with any local access, Health and Safety or security rules in place
• Provide first line service support for a range of communications equipment
