Summary

Join Verisys' growing Data Acquisition team as an entry-level Data Acquisition Analyst. This remote position requires residing in one of several specified states. You will acquire and audit data from various sources, conduct research, and articulate data acquisition processes. The role demands strong attention to detail, excellent computer skills, and proficiency in Excel. A high school diploma or GED is required. Requirements

  • Be willing and able to take ownership and initiative on tasks and projects
  • Work as part of a team to provide on-time results
  • Be able to learn quickly and adjust priorities throughout the day
  • Have an uncompromising approach to meeting/exceeding pressing deadlines and expectations
  • Do work right the first time and inspect work for flaws
  • Thoroughly test new methods while considering excellence a fundamental priority
  • Possess excellent computer skills
  • Be proficient with MS Office products, specifically Excel
  • Possess strong Critical thinking skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have a High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Have reliable internet at least 25 Mbps
  • Have a quiet and distraction-free workspace
  • Be able to sit for long periods
  • Be able to work during regular business hours
  • Be able to read, analyze and find relevant data from a variety of sources
  • Have strong attention to detail
  • Have computer competency and intermediate knowledge of excel

Responsibilities

  • Work through a prioritized list of publications (data sources) to acquire relevant data and audit internal information on these publications while meeting deadlines on a monthly basis
  • Conduct additional research as necessary about the data source including, but not limited to, contacting the data authority for guidance on how to interpret data
  • Research how we are able to acquire data: manually pulling, Vbots, fees (pay for data), etc
  • Research potential new relevant data sources
  • Clearly articulate data acquisition processes
  • Take on additional periodical and/or ad-hoc projects/tasks when necessary
  • Be self-motivated to work day to day with limited oversight If available, use provided resources to answer questions before seeking assistance
  • Know and work with Supervisor to meet benchmarks in both quantity and quality
