Summary

Join NinjaHoldings' Marketing Analytics team as a self-directed Data Analyst, partnering with Marketing and senior analytics experts. Support the data pipeline by updating Snowflake data models, assisting with Periscope dashboard builds and automations, and using SQL/Python to analyze funnel performance and identify drop-off drivers. Provide data-driven recommendations to leadership and guide cross-functional testing and optimizations. Monitor key funnel metrics, analyze funnel trends, and communicate actionable business strategy recommendations. Update and maintain DBT data models and Periscope dashboards. Partner with cross-functional teams to implement strategy changes and conduct post-release impact analysis. This role requires a Bachelor's degree with 1+ years of experience or a Master's degree and advanced SQL knowledge.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required with 1+ years of experience in data analytics or Masters degree
  • Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL), as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases. Experience with BI reporting tools is a plus
  • Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills with key attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Monitor key funnel metrics through reports and dashboards to track channel performance, diagnose deviations, and surface root-cause insights
  • Use SQL and Python to analyze funnel trends, quantify drop-off drivers, and provide recommendations to optimize
  • Communicate concise and actionable business strategy recommendations to senior management
  • Update and maintain DBT data models in Snowflake to enhance and streamline reporting for marketing dashboards
  • Build, update, and maintain Periscope dashboards - adding new charts and metrics to improve visibility across the marketing funnel
  • Partner with Marketing, Risk, and Engineering to implement strategy changes, monitor releases, and conduct post-release impact analysis

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in quantitative discipline (e.g., math, statistics, operations research, quantitative finance, physics, engineering, computer sciences, etc.)
  • Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
  • Proficiency using Python
