Responsibilities

• Conduct a thorough assessment of our current on-premises data storage infrastructure
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and technical considerations for the data center migration
• Develop a comprehensive data center migration plan, outlining the step-by-step process, timeline, and resource requirements
• Advise on industry best practices and standards for data center migration
• Identify potential risks and challenges related to the migration process and provide mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with IT teams and third-party vendors to coordinate the migration activities
• Provide technical guidance and support during the migration process
• Monitor and track the progress of the migration, providing regular updates to stakeholders and project managers
• Conduct post-migration assessments to ensure the successful completion of the migration and verify data integrity and system functionality
• Develop and deliver documentation, including migration plans, technical specifications, and post-migration reports
• Offer recommendations for optimizing data center resources and improving overall data management efficiency
