Summary

Join Lyft's Data Curation Operations team and contribute to improving customer experiences by providing high-quality data. You will collaborate with various teams to curate and maintain essential place data sets. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Ability and readiness to deal with monotonous work without losing concentration
  • Understanding of the traffic regulations, mapping fundamentals
  • Customer obsessed: You are passionate about delivering great customer experiences with a strong track record to back that up. You have analytical and problem-solving skills to proactively address and prevent issues
  • Strong and proactive communicator: You excel in verbal and written communication (English, Ukrainian). You can adapt your communication style to work with team members from all corners of the organization, and you proactively share updates on processes you own. You are receptive to feedback and direction in order to successfully carry out tasks and lead projects to completion
  • Strong computer skills: You feel comfortable learning new processes, systems & tools, including labeling tools (data labeling, image labeling) and Google Workspace products

Responsibilities

  • Evaluation of new places data sources
  • Work with mapping tools with high accuracy in accordance with guidelines
  • Reviewing a large amount of data, making corrections. Documenting data issues meticulously for analysis
  • Performing deep dives and root cause analysis. Augmenting/preparing collected data for the engineering team
  • Reviewing annotated data sets for errors and making corrections as needed
  • Working with airport related data to improve rider and driver experiences
  • Working with the Google Suite of products/services such as G-mail, Docs, Sheets, Meet, Calendar, etc
  • Keeping a high level of accuracy, attention to details and integrity

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in mapping, cartography and any related fields
  • Experience using Open Street Map
  • Experience with data entry or data labeling
  • Experience working with vendors
