Requirements
- Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry
- 10+ years of experience in managing and delivering business or IT projects
- 8+ years of relevant work experience (Data Management & Data analytics)
- Strong expertise in data engineering tools and technologies (e.g., SQL, Snowflake, Python, etc.)
- Knowledge of data modelling, ETL processes, and data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Matillion)
- Solid understanding of data warehousing, OLAP systems, and business intelligence tools (Tableau, PowerBIx)
- Demonstrates critical thinking about how to integrate Agentic AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving
- Proven ability to work as an individual contributor and manage the team simultaneously is a must
- Experience in the full lifecycle of Data, Analytics and building data engineering solutions
- Excellent facilitation skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
- Experience in managing teams including partner teams, demonstrating strong people management skills
- Expertise in working with cross-functional teams across different geos
- Excellent communication skills, ability to drive projects with a geographically dispersed team
- Experience building data engineering solutions with Product, Customer & Usage Analytics structured and unstructured data
- Bachelorβs degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or similar
Responsibilities
- Lead & manage data engineering team, guiding their career development and fostering a collaborative, high-performance work environment
- Establish delivery and communication strategy milestones, ownership and drive successful execution
- Ensure excellent quality of deliverables and high stakeholder satisfaction
- Provide rapid response, manage and drive production and delivery issues and risks to resolution and implement preventative action
- Collaborate closely with other development teams (and managers) to help with continuous improvement of the architecture, tools and processes
- Follow all documented architecture, design & deployment processes to ensure compliance with policies
- Cross-train team members and convey value delivered on key initiatives to the broader organization
- Communicate status regularly with stakeholders and executive sponsors
- Management and execution against project plans and delivery commitments
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the team within an Agile/Scrum environment
- Mentor team, conduct code reviews, and support the team's ongoing development to ensure high-quality code and professional growth
- Monitor the performance and reliability of data systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that SLAs (Service Level Agreements) are met
