Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive data governance framework, including policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure buy-in and adoption of the framework
• Define and implement data quality metrics, standards, and processes
• Identify and address data quality issues, working with data owners to remediate problems
• Conduct regular data quality assessments and audits
• Develop and maintain a metadata repository, documenting data definitions, lineage, and relationships
• Ensure that metadata is accurate, complete, and up-to-date
• Use metadata to improve data discovery, understanding, and use
• Investigate and resolve data-related issues and incidents
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between data stakeholders to resolve conflicts and issues
• Track and report on data issues and resolutions
• Develop and deliver training on data governance policies, standards, and procedures
• Communicate data governance initiatives and progress to stakeholders
• Promote a data-driven culture within the organization
