Requirements

• Work experience as a Finance Assistant
• Good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
• Advanced MS Excel/Google sheets skills (creating spreadsheets and using financial functions)
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g. xero)
• Organizational and time-management skills
• Attention to detail, with an ability to spot numerical errors
• Good Knowledge of Accruals and prepayments

Responsibilities

• Updating Internal Trackers
• Monitoring Asset Account
• Office coordination duties
• Preparation of monthly management reports & EOY Management Accounts
• Booking Monthly Social Events
• Assist in quarterly and annual audits of financial records
• Complete daily bank reconciliations
• Participate in month-end reconciliations & Account Sweeps
• Investigate discrepancies that arise within the client money reconciliations
• Liaise with the Payments and back-office teams on transactions within client accounts
• Managing financial administration including raising Invoices
• Building dashboards and insight reports
