Summary
Join ChargePoint, a leader in the EV charging industry, as their Director, Demand Generation. You will develop and execute global demand generation initiatives to drive pipeline growth across various customer segments. This role requires close collaboration with Product Marketing, Sales, and Digital teams to optimize the entire sales funnel. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of B2B marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a demand generation leadership role. A strong understanding of marketing technologies and proven success in generating measurable pipeline and revenue growth are essential. The position is based in Campbell, CA, but remote work may be considered. ChargePoint offers a competitive salary range of $147,500 to $255,000.
Requirements
- 10+ years of B2B marketing experience, with at least 5 years focused on demand generation in a leadership role
- Proven track record of designing and executing programs that generate measurable pipeline and revenue growth
- Strong understanding of marketing technologies, including Marketo, Salesforce, and attribution/reporting tools
- Experience leading teams and managing agencies or external partners
- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills
- Bachelorβs degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA a plus)
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the global demand generation strategy to support revenue and pipeline goals across key market segments and regions
- Own campaign planning, execution, and performance tracking across multiple channels (email, webinars, content syndication, digital advertising, ABM, events, etc.)
- Partner with Sales and Revenue Operations to align on lead scoring, routing, attribution, and follow-up processes
- Manage marketing automation and CRM systems (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce) to track performance, optimize conversion rates, and improve ROI
- Lead a team of marketers, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance management
- Collaborate with Product Marketing to translate positioning and messaging into targeted campaigns
- Monitor trends and continuously test new channels and tactics to scale and improve lead quality and engagement
- Report on pipeline contribution, conversion metrics, and campaign effectiveness to senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the clean energy, EV, or SaaS space is a plus
