Remote Developer Evangelist

Join our team as the Developer Evangelist to drive technology understanding, adoption, and integration among developers and the broader tech community. Focus on developing go-to-market strategies, creating content, and collaborating with internal teams to enhance developer experience.

Requirements

• 2+ years in developer relations and prior experience in building and maintaining a developer-focused community
• In-depth understanding of web3, metaverse technologies, and how to engage with the  web3 community
• Strong technical expertise with the ability to break down complex concepts for a broader audience
• Excellent writing skills to communicate our technology clearly and engagingly
• Ability to work within cross-functional teams (sales, product, and marketing)
• Great networking and presentation skills, with experience in organizing and managing hackathons and meetups

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute high-level strategies to attract and onboard developers to the Somnia ecosystem, driving growth and retention
• Create developer focused go-to-market strategies by identifying growth opportunities  and tactics to motivate and engage developers to build on Somnia
• Motivate developers to build dApos on Somnia by raising awareness of its features that simplify and enhance the development experience
• Identify and engage high-potential developer communities, refining outreach strategies and messaging to grow awareness and encourage developer participation
• Design and deliver technical content (sample codes, tutorials, blogs, etc) that explain complex technical concepts to enhance the developer experience
• Build and nurture ongoing relationships with key influencers, developers, and decision-makers in the developer community
• Provide feedback to internal teams to influence product development and help shape the product roadmap and market strategy
• Attend online and offline events to promote the platform, network with developers, and gather insights on industry trends and tech community needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing dApps on EVM-compatible networks and can showcase a portfolio of code samples or tutorials targeted at a developer audience
• Strong existing developer network and/or X, Farcaster presence
