Summary

Join Deepgram, a leading voice AI platform, as a Developer & PLG Marketing leader. This highly visible role, reporting to the CMO, involves building and executing programs to reach developers globally, leading organic discovery strategies, and optimizing web conversion rates. You will own top-of-funnel signup growth, run growth experiments, and collaborate with various teams to optimize the product-led growth (PLG) process. Success is measured by accelerated growth in Deepgram's self-serve funnel, increased developer engagement, and improved signup conversion. This role requires a strong understanding of developer marketing, growth marketing, and PLG, along with proven success in driving bottom-up growth in a B2B or API-first company. Requirements

  • 7+ years in developer marketing, growth marketing, or product-led growth roles
  • Proven track record of driving bottom-up growth in a B2B or API-first company
  • Strong empathy for developers and familiarity with the tools they use
  • Ability to partner across Product, Engineering, and Sales
  • Deep understanding of growth loops, experimentation, and CRO
  • Experience working in high-growth, fast-paced environments with small, agile teams
  • Creative risk-taker who thrives on building new playbooks, not repeating old ones
  • High energy, high motivation, high intelligence, high curiosity. In it for the love of the game

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute programs to reach, inspire, and enable developers globally
  • Lead strategy and execution for organic discovery: SEO, content, influencers, partnerships, affiliates
  • Drive web conversion rate optimization and funnel performance across Deepgram’s site and docs
  • Partner with Product, Sales, and Support to deeply understand the developer journey
  • Activate developer advocates and community members to extend our reach and credibility
  • Own the top-of-funnel signup growth number across paid and organic sources
  • Develop and run growth experiments to drive conversion, activation, and expansion
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Digital teams to test and optimize PLG levers
  • Ensure smooth transitions from signup β†’ activation β†’ sales engagement for high-potential users
  • Leverage data and experimentation frameworks to unlock new paths to revenue
  • Drive distribution through owned and earned channels

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in marketing to technical personas or API products
  • Experience leading or mentoring a small team
  • Familiarity with voice AI or LLM-based tooling
