Summary
Join The Just Trust as a Development Associate and support our fundraising operations, donor engagement, and campaign execution. You will maintain accurate donor and grant records, support fundraising campaigns and events, and ensure timely donor engagement. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and communication skills, and comfort working with data and project management tools. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience supporting a fundraising team, experience with a CRM platform, and excellent communication skills. The salary range is $80,000 to $100,000.
Requirements
- 3-5 years experience supporting a fundraising team with operations and project management
- Prior experience with a CRM platform (e.g., Salesforce, EveryAction, Raiserβs Edge, etc.) TJT uses Bloomerang
- Previous experience working on a fundraising or development team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Knowledge of grant writing and management
- Collaborative team player with a high degree of integrity and attention to detail
- Previous experience working in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate donor records and data in the CRM system
- Run reports and support the team with donor pipeline and moves management
- Support list management, data hygiene, and campaign tracking
- Draft donor briefings and engagement plans in collaboration with team members
- Coordinate prospect research and information gathering for key meetings
- Assist with donor communications and acknowledgments
- Track and manage fundraising campaigns in Asana or similar project management tools
- Support coordination and execution of campaign timelines and deliverables
- Provide logistical and administrative support across campaign projects
- Assisting with the preparation of grant proposals and reports
- Tracking grant deadlines and ensuring timely submissions
- Managing grant data and reporting
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with project management platforms (e.g., Asana, Trello)
- Background in prospect research or event planning
- Experience in the criminal justice system or working for criminal justice reform organizations
- Experience planning and implementation of events
- Experience with UHNW and HNW donors
