Devops Developer

Summary

Join our team as a DevOps Engineer to develop, implement, test, optimize, and maintain Kubernetes based deployments on-premises and in the cloud. As a successful candidate, you will work on deployment and debugging Avid cloud products, setup and maintain on premises and cloud infrastructures, and have good troubleshooting skills.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant experience with Dev-Ops and Deployment in Kubernetes
• Good analytical and communication skills - Build and maintain systems on Kubernetes and with Helm charts
• Experience using DevOps tools on premises and in cloud environments (e.g.: Docker, Helm Charts, Terraform, Kubernetes)
• Familiar with QA concepts and automation of DevOps/QA tasks - Knowledge about Microservice architectures and concepts (e.g. Services mesh, Chaos testing) - Identify, analyze and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues
• Experience with Continuous integration and deployment, Gitlab and Jenkins pipelines
• Knowledge and experience in at least one programming and scripting language: Bash, GoLang, Python
• Fluency in English (both spoken and written), ability to communicate efficiently in English in spoken and written form

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in the definition of architecture and its implementation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, scope, and objectives
• Design and develop high-quality software solutions
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical leadership and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Conduct code reviews, ensure code quality, and enforce best practices in software development
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements
• Identify and resolve technical challenges, troubleshoot issues, and provide innovative solutions
• Participate in agile methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospective meetings
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, and leverage them to drive innovation and efficiency
