Summary

Join Zero, a creative studio in NYC, as a Digital Strategist! You'll play a pivotal role in defining and executing digital strategies for our clients, leading e-commerce strategy development, creating targeted digital marketing plans, and managing multiple e-commerce channels. Success requires a positive, solutions-oriented mindset, strong analytical and communication skills, and a passion for digital trends. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to achieve cohesive strategies and roadmaps. This role demands 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing or e-commerce, ideally with Shopify experience. Requirements

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, e-commerce manager–Shopify specifically–or a similar role within the digital media or e-commerce sectors. Experience should include hands-on management of a brand in-house and/or multiple clients as a part of an agency
  • Creative & Entrepreneurial Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills and creativity that will push Zero and our clients beyond the standards of “best practices.”
  • Digital Expertise: In-depth knowledge of website & digital best practices as well as bigger picture strategic thinking that focuses on growing a business
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools to assess campaign performance and derive actionable insights for optimization
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with CRM platforms, content management systems, and marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Email, and overall marketing tools & platforms
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and external partners
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet tight deadlines
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust strategies based on analytics, industry trends, and evolving customer needs

Responsibilities

  • Lead & Develop E-commerce strategies
  • Create digital marketing strategies tailored to the target audience and aligned with business goals that consider the entirety of the brand’s digital ecosystem (from social to web to external platforms)
  • Strategic planning should incorporate all aspects of the customer journey from awareness, conversion, and retention
  • Maintain multiple e-commerce channels (d2c, digital retail, etc) for small to mid-sized client
  • Contribute ideas to the digital strategy phase of projects as well as ongoing digital roadmaps
  • Ability to understand business models & corresponding goals to develop roadmap recommendations for small (up to 5m in annual rev) to midsized businesses (5-50m in annual rev)
  • Well-versed in technical stacks, tools, and integrations that allow you to collaborate with technologists to accomplish marketing & business goals
  • Analyzing metrics. Use analytics tools like Google Analytics to track campaign performance, identify trends, and optimize strategies. This analysis also includes monitoring metrics like engagement rates, website traffic, and conversions
  • Work closely with all integrated teams, account, technology, social, and clients to execute cohesive strategies & roadmaps
  • Monitoring market trends. Stay updated on digital marketing trends and tools to ensure strategies remain innovative and competitive in the ever-evolving digital landscape
  • Collaborate and contribute to the development of marketing calendars & website roadmaps for clients
  • Manage digital campaigns across various platforms, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and KPIs, including social media strategy and paid search efforts
  • Executing email campaigns. Planning and managing email marketing initiatives to engage the audience and nurture leads, ensuring alignment with broader marketing strategies
