Summary

The job is for a Director of Business Intelligence at Basis Technologies. The role involves managing the execution of the company-wide BI roadmap, collaborating with cross-functional teams, building and managing a high performing BI team, establishing data governance and quality standards, partnering with other tech teams, educating internal clients on how to leverage data, and more.

Requirements

• 8+ years of work experience on a team with similar core responsibilities
• 4+ years of experience successfully building and leading high performing BI teams
• Post-secondary education with a strong analytical component, e.g. statistics, business, social sciences, sciences
• Strong understanding of data analytics methodologies and tools with experience leveraging data for driving business insights and outcomes
• Strong knowledge and experience with Relational Databases and SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with ability to present and clearly explain insights based on data to non-technical executive audiences
