Summary

The Director of Talent at Student Achievement Partners is responsible for managing all aspects of the employment lifecycle, collaborating with department heads to forecast hiring needs, implementing data-driven recruitment processes, overseeing performance management, employee onboarding, development, and offboarding, serving as a resource for employee inquiries and concerns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws, and developing, updating, and implementing HR policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • At least 7-10 years professional experience in Human Resources management
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

  • Organizational Strategy and Execution
  • Collaborate with department heads to forecast hiring needs
  • Implement data-driven recruitment processes and analytics
  • Conduct market analysis to ensure competitive compensation and bonus structures
  • Recruitment and Staffing
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain qualified candidates
  • Oversee the full recruitment cycle including job postings, screening, interviewing, and hiring processes
  • Ensure diversity and inclusion in hiring practices
  • Monitor and evaluate the candidate experience
  • Train and guide hiring managers on best practices for candidate engagement and equitable hiring practices
  • Performance Management
  • Manage the implementation of the performance feedback process
  • Oversee performance evaluation systems to ensure consistent and fair appraisals
  • Provide guidance to supervisors on performance issues and improvement plans
  • Facilitate employee recognition programs to boost morale and productivity
  • Employee Onboarding, Development, and Offboarding
  • Design and conduct onboarding programs to integrate new employees into the organization
  • Identify training needs and organize professional development programs
  • Review, track, and document compliance with required training, continuing education, and work assessments
  • Employee Relations
  • Serve as the resource for employee inquiries and concerns
  • Foster a positive work environment through conflict resolution, mediation, and counseling
  • Develop and lead proactive, strategic initiatives to drive employee engagement, learning and development, employee recognition, and employee retention
  • Promote open communication and a culture of feedback within the organization
  • Provide comprehensive support in employee relations, performance management, progressive discipline, policy interpretation, and addressing employee grievances

Preferred Qualifications

Professional HR designation HRCI (SPHR) or SHRM-SCP Certification
