The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in marketing leadership, brand management, and communications within B2B/SaaS companies.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in marketing, with a minimum of 2 years in marketing leadership roles within B2B/SaaS companies
  • 5+ years of experience in brand management, creative direction, and communications, with a proven track record of success in B2B brands across smaller startups and global brands
  • Background with leading creative agencies or significant experience marketing in technology, or fast-paced scale-up environments
  • Demonstrated ability to dive deep in understanding category and products, audiences and the competitive landscape
  • Excellent writing and editing skills for crafting press releases, speeches, internal memos, and other communications materials
  • Knowledge of top creative design & collaboration tools and digital platforms
  • Strong strategic thinking and creative skills with the ability to translate business goals into compelling brand narratives and content assets
  • Experience managing higher performing cross-functional teams and working closely with departments such as marketing, legal, and HR

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive brand strategy that aligns with business goals and enhances brand equity
  • Define brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity and ensure consistency across all touchpoints
  • Continuously evaluate and refine brand strategy based on feedback, performance data, and market trends
  • Lead the creative direction for all marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and marketing objectives
  • Oversee the development of creative concepts and assets across various channels and programs, including digital, video, and events
  • Leverage social platforms to engage stakeholders, share key messages, and manage the company’s online reputation
  • Craft effective internal communication strategies to engage employees, drive company culture, and ensure alignment with business goals
  • Create and implement crisis communication plans, manage media inquiries, and respond to emergencies swiftly, as needed
  • Work with C-suite executives to shape communication strategies and align messaging with corporate vision
  • Develop PR strategies to build brand awareness and manage reputation
  • Oversee PR agency relationships
  • Develop and manage the budget for brand and creative initiatives, ensuring efficient allocation of resources
  • Partner with other functions to monitor spending and ROI, making data-driven recommendations for budget adjustments as needed
  • Design, build and lead a high-performing team
  • Foster a commitment to company values and culture

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with tools and analytics to measure social engagement and track corporate communications effectiveness, including social listening and share of voice tracking
