Summary

Join Peachtree BioResearch Solutions as a Director, Business Development to drive new sales in the Western U.S. This remote position focuses on developing relationships with sponsor companies. You will utilize market intelligence to identify and develop contacts, penetrate new accounts, and maintain existing clients. Responsibilities include preparing sales and marketing plans, meeting targets, participating in proposal development, managing internal teams, and attending industry events. Peachtree offers a collaborative environment, an aggressive compensation plan, and support from company leadership. The ideal candidate possesses inside or outside sales experience at a CRO, lives in the Western U.S., and has strong presentation and relationship-building skills.

Requirements

  • Inside or outside sales experience at a CRO, or other clinical trials solutions/service (EDC Platform, CTMS, etc)
  • Currently living within the western U.S. and relatively short travel time to CA, UT, CO, WA, etc
  • Dynamic and engaging presentation skills. Complex sales cycle and bid defense prep experience is highly preferred
  • Track record of success selling new business and creating relationships with decision makers within Clin Ops and C-suite
  • HIGHLY organized, very responsive, high standards for self and others
  • Ability to prioritize work, plan revenue generating activities, and adjust when needed

Responsibilities

  • Utilize market intelligence and technologies to identify and develop contacts within territory
  • Penetrate new accounts, while maintaining and nurturing existing clients
  • Prepare, maintain, and update sales and marketing plans for your territory - track in CRM
  • Meet specified targets including quarterly and yearly goals
  • Participate in and actively drive proposal development, bid defense, and ops handoffs to ensure Peachtree is addressing true needs of the client
  • Manage internal teams throughout sales process
  • Participate in conferences, trade shows, and other industry events
