Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in commercial planning, sales strategy, or a related field, with some leadership experience
- 3+ years of experience working with SPINS, Nielsen and other syndicated data platforms to provide insights
- 2+ years of experience in people leadership, managing a team and/or function
- Proven experience in developing and executing strategic commercial plans that drive revenue growth and profitability
- Strong analytical and financial acumen, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and influence senior leadership
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to take initiative and work autonomously β you can run with something from beginning to end
- Works well with ambiguity and asks the right questions to get at the solution
- Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Suite
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the commercial planning process, including annual business plans and long-term strategic road maps
- Develop short-term and long-term revenue forecasts, track performance and identify any deviations or risks
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscapes, and industry shifts to ensure the companyβs offerings are aligned with consumer demand and competitive positioning
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimize brand price position, product assortment price architecture, and promotions
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment between commercial strategy and go-to-market initiatives
- Drive the development of sales enablement tools and materials that support commercial objectives and sales targets
- Collaborate across departments, including operations, product development, and supply chain, to ensure that commercial strategies are fully integrated into the broader business functions
- Oversee the creation of the commercial budget, ensuring the allocation of resources to support key strategic initiatives
- Work closely with finance teams to monitor and report on P&L performance, identifying opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement
- Ensure financial forecasts and performance metrics are accurately tracked and adjusted as necessary
- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of commercial strategies, initiatives, and campaigns
- Provide regular performance reports to senior leadership, highlighting key insights, challenges, and opportunities
- Drive continuous improvement through analysis and reporting of sales performance, conversion rates, and other business metrics

Benefits
$140,000-$150,000 base salary + bonus
