Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, and/or venture capital, with a strong track record in M&A and deal execution
- Bachelorโs degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field
- Extensive experience in financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence processes
- Deep understanding of the healthcare, wellness, or technology industries, including market dynamics, regulatory environments, and emerging trends
- Exceptional negotiation and influencing skills, with a proven ability to secure favorable deal terms
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and develop actionable insights
- Proven leadership abilities, with experience managing cross-functional teams and driving alignment across diverse stakeholders
- High degree of adaptability and resilience, thriving in a fast-paced and evolving environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end M&A process, including opportunity sourcing, identification, valuation, due diligence, deal structuring, and negotiations
- Conduct comprehensive financial and strategic analyses to assess acquisition targets and identify potential risks and synergies
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and operations, to ensure seamless execution and integration of transactions
- Conduct deep research and analysis of market trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging opportunities in the healthcare and wellness sectors
- Identify high-impact acquisition and investment opportunities that align with Fullscriptโs strategic objectives
- Stay informed of regulatory changes and industry innovations to anticipate potential opportunities or challenges
- Develop robust financial models to evaluate the strategic and financial viability of potential transactions
- Build and present compelling investment cases to executive leadership and key stakeholders
- Lead negotiations to achieve advantageous deal terms that maximize value for Fullscript
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create and implement integration plans that maximize synergies and ensure a smooth transition
- Monitor and measure post-acquisition performance to ensure strategic goals are met and value is realized
- Explore and evaluate strategic partnerships and joint ventures that complement Fullscriptโs growth strategy
- Build strong relationships with external stakeholders, including potential partners, investment banks, and venture capital firms
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive leadership team on M&A and strategic growth initiatives
- Prepare and present regular updates on corporate development activities, deal pipeline, and progress to internal stakeholders
- Cultivate a culture of innovation, collaboration, and results-oriented execution within the corporate development function
