Summary

Join Nanit, a high-growth baby tech company, as their Director, Creative Design! Lead the visual identity and art direction for our parenting platform, overseeing end-to-end creative execution across all channels. Develop performance-driven creative, lead photo and video production, and manage a team of designers. You will partner with various teams to align creative execution with business objectives and ensure brand consistency. This hybrid role requires a presence in NYC three days a week, with remote options considered for highly qualified candidates. The salary range is $140,000 to $150,000 base salary, plus equity and benefits.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of proven design experience in leadership roles in consumer-facing, digital-first environment, ideally within a tech-enable or lifestyle-focused brand
  • Proven experience leading and managing internal and external design teams, with a strong portfolio demonstrating leadership across multiple disciplines
  • Exceptional creative vision and deep understanding of brand identity creation and high-impact, performance-driven creative work across paid, owned and earned channels
  • Expertise in art direction, photography, video production, and cross-channel design
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing, conversion optimization, and customer engagement strategies
  • A self-starter that’s excited to join and contribute to a mission driven company
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and emerging creative technologies

Responsibilities

  • Own the creative vision, art direction, and design strategy, ensuring brand consistency across marketing, product, content, and social
  • Develop performance-driven creative that optimizes engagement, conversion, and brand love
  • Lead photo and video production, from concept development to execution, creating assets that resonate with parents and drive action
  • Oversee design across multiple touchpoints, including website, email, paid media, social, and in-app experiences
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing creative team including two direct reports and a roster of freelance talent
  • Partner closely with Brand, Growth and Product teams to align creative execution with business objectives
  • Translate brand vision and platform into compelling, customer-first design solutions
  • Develop and implement best practices for design, creative testing, and optimization to ensure continual improvement
  • Stay ahead of cultural, industry, and technological trends, including AI-driven creative tools, to enhance efficiency and impact
