Join Fivetran as the Director of Field Marketing & Events, North America, and lead a team in driving brand awareness and demand. You will partner with sales leadership, develop and execute marketing strategies, manage events, and analyze data to optimize programs. This role requires strong operational leadership, event management expertise, and a history of successful partnerships with sales leaders. The position is full-time, based in Denver, CO, Oakland, CA, or remotely in the US. You will be responsible for managing budgets, building relationships with vendors, and hiring and coaching a team. Requirements
- 10+ years of Marketing leadership experience with a focus on partnering with regional Sales leaders to drive pipeline
- 5+ years experience managing a team of 3+ members
- Experience working for technology companies selling to global enterprises
- Track record of designing and executing high-performing, integrated marketing campaigns that drive pipeline growth with senior executive audiences
- Deep understanding of event operations, agency management and industry standards for events targeting the enterprise segment
- Ability to use data and analytics to drive decision-making as well as a consistent track record of delivering against pipeline targets
- Experience fostering a high-performance team culture
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with Sales leadership to ensure alignment on priorities, build and evolve effective marketing plans that meet/exceed pipeline goals
- Develop and execute customer-driven, regional marketing strategies and programs to increase brand awareness, demand, pipeline, product usage, retention and expansion
- Work closely with teams across Marketing to formulate and execute launches, integrated campaigns, and account-based marketing plans
- Lead the teams that own execution for >100 events per year, including Fivetran-hosted events, 3rd party and partner conferences, field and executive events. Ensure seamless execution from concept to post-event analysis
- Align with the Account-Based Marketing team, responsible for 1:1 and 1:few programs targeting strategic and enterprise customers and prospects
- Closely monitor KPIs and metrics to measure program effectiveness. Analyze data to optimize programs and demonstrate ROI to senior management
- Collaborate closely with Product Marketing to develop relevant messaging, positioning, and region-specific content plans
- Manage budgets effectively, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to maximize ROI
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors, agencies, and strategic partners to enhance execution and maximize sponsorship opportunities
- Hire and coach top talent. Recruit, train, and motivate a dynamic organization of marketing leaders and individual contributors, empowering them with the skills to meet and exceed KPIs
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in data integration or cloud based data storage industry a plus
