Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance and operations, with a focus on merchandising or a related field
- Must have ecommerce or retail experience
- Must have supply chain experience (specifically transportation and freight forecasting)
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving process improvements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, with a strong understanding of automation and technology in finance and operations
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial insights that support the operations and fulfillment team goals and overall business objectives
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for the supply chain and fulfillment network organizations
- Use solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models, interpret data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations that deliver results and drive improvements
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational processes and systems
- Deliver real time insights, weekly and monthly cadence reporting, support monthly financial close, using financial systems and advanced Excel functions and SQL to work with large data sets
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization
- Act as a trusted advisor to supply chain and operations leaders, providing insights and recommendations
- Identify opportunities to resolve defects proactively and improve, scale, or simplify finance tools across teams and organizations
