This full-time, remote position based in the US involves managing a global proposals team, overseeing US Federal contract management, providing operational support, and building key relationships. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in Federal contracting and proposals management, including expertise in USG contracting, FAR regulations, and proposal development. Requirements
- 8+ years of total relevant work experience in Federal contracting and proposals management
- 6+ years of leadership experience, of which 2+ years is supervisory experience
- 5+ years experience in Federal contracts management, including with FAR PART 12 and PART 35 contracts
- Experience managing Federal contract processes from start to finish
- Ability to navigate and review FAR clauses
- Familiar and capable of managing: GSA schedule contracts, System for Award Management (SAM), eMod/eOffer, and CPARS
- Expertise in cost analysis and price reasonableness standards
- Experience preparing and managing RFP/RFI/RFQ responses and white papers
- Experience reviewing and negotiating teaming agreements
- Ability to pull together compliant Transmittal Letters
- Experience analyzing significant or unique contract requirements to ensure compliance with corporate policies, with appropriate legal coordination
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and to manage multiple demands, priorities, and projects simultaneously
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with diverse individuals at all levels of an organization
- Ability to balance risk tolerance and business objectives
- Excellent organization skills and ability to be detail-oriented
- Competency in MS Word, MS Excel, and Salesforce
- Bachelorβs degree
Responsibilities
- Manage the proposals team
- Own and execute the US Federal contract management process
- Provide operational support
- Build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Handle negotiations when necessary
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in FAR PART 15 contracts
- Experience with Jira ticketing system
- Security clearance
- Paralegal certificate
- Experience with Launch Contracts
