Summary
Join NewRocket, a global ServiceNow partner, as the Director, HR Services, guiding and supervising internal HR processes. You will manage all HR affairs within a specified region, from onboarding to employee relations, and implement personnel policies. The role involves supervising HR Generalists and partnering with the Regional Head to cultivate a strategic partnership. You will also act as a strategic HR advisor to business leaders, implementing NewRocket's HR strategy. This position requires strong leadership, HR expertise, and experience in a consulting environment or matrixed organization. The Director will also lead or support employee investigations and utilize ADP (MY HR) tool for employee record management.
Requirements
- 12+ years of human resources experience
- 4+ years leadership experience
- Experience within a consulting environment or a matrixed organization
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the ability to lead multiple teams with managers
- Expert-level knowledge of a wide-range of Human Resources services, including (but not limited to), recruitment, onboarding, total rewards, compliance, performance management, employee relations, learning, organizational development, and offboarding
- Deep experience with HRIMS/HRIS systems (implementation & on-going support)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook)
- Experience in maintaining confidentiality and practicing a high-level business ethics
- Strong first-hand experience in Human Resource policy making and roll out practices
- Experience in strategic planning and goal setting on a department-level scale
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Comfortable taking the initiative to work alongside and collaborate with outside departments
Responsibilities
- Guide, assist, and supervise internal processes across various domains, serving as a dependable advisor to management
- Manage all HR affairs within a specified region or geographical area, spanning from onboarding to employee relations and the implementation of personnel policies and procedures
- Supervise HR Generalists and work in tandem with the team to ensure both the business and employee needs are effectively addressed
- Implement and drive HR Department initiatives aligned with business strategies, covering vital areas such as employee relations, performance concerns compensation practices, people matter, HR policies, and the complete employee life cycle
- Partner closely with the Regional Head to cultivate a strategic partnership concerning all business-related HR affairs
- Guide business leaders as the strategic HR advisor within designated departments on a global scale, actively advancing and implementing NewRocket's HR strategy within each department
- Manage a team of HR Professionals/Generalist in the day-to-day execution of Human resources operations
- Deep understanding of labor regulations, employment laws, and compliance requirements to ensure business practices are ethical and legal
- Act as a primary point of contact and provide counsel and consulting services to internal partners across the organization as well provides support to employees
- Work with the rest of the HR extended leadership team to ensure we are creating a competitive and engaging employee experience
- Plan, implement, and administer programs and activities to conduct HR goals and objectives
- Collaborate within HR to support project activities around but not limited to policies and procedures, professional development, compensation, benefits, employee onboarding, recognition programs, HR technology and updating corporate materials
- Promote and foster the NewRocket culture through an empowering, open minded and initiative-taking approach and by acting as a catalyst for change management
- Be responsible for Internal Regional communication with all levels in the organization
- Partner with Payroll, HRIS, and Compensation and Benefits functions as needed to provide solutions for business
- Lead or support employee investigations in an effective and confidential manner
- Utilize and administer the ADP (MY HR) tool, ensuring adherence to company policies in maintaining employee records and managing the accurate recording of information
- Provide day-to-day leadership and mentorship to HR team members, fostering their growth and development within the organization
Preferred Qualifications
- Masterβs degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- PHR/SPHR or equivalent certification
