Join Fundraise Up, a leading fundraising platform, as our Director of Business Development and lead our growth initiatives. You will develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies, identify and secure strategic partnerships, and build a robust pipeline of new business opportunities. This role requires collaboration with various teams, including Product, Marketing, and Customer Success, to exceed ambitious revenue targets. You will also be responsible for setting KPIs, tracking progress, and reporting to executive leadership. Requirements
- 7+ years of business development, sales, or strategic partnerships experience, preferably within high-growth startups or SaaS environments
- Proven track record of closing deals and driving revenue growth
- Experience negotiating complex, high-value partnership agreements
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Demonstrated leadership and team management experience
- Confident and collaborative—comfortable leading conversations with Product, Sales, and Exec teams
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to accelerate revenue and market share growth
- Identify, negotiate, and close strategic partnerships and alliances that align with company goals
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of new business opportunities across multiple channels
- Research and prioritize new market segments, geographies, and verticals; design go-to-market strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to refine value propositions and messaging for prospective clients
- Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure alignment of growth initiatives and customer needs
- Set KPIs, track progress, and provide regular reports to executive leadership on business development activities and outcomes
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing business development team as the company scales
