Requirements

  • Deep background working with SOCOM, AFSOC, MARSOC, etc
  • Understanding of FAR based contracting and how to use various contracting mechanisms to achieve business goals
  • 5+ years of BD experience
  • Capable of TS-SCI
  • Capable of traveling 50% of time or more

Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including partnerships, collaborations, and strategic alliances
  • Research and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify untapped opportunities and areas for expansion
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, partners, investors, and other key stakeholders
  • Lead the negotiation and closing of partnerships, contracts, and agreements
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients, partners, and investors
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and emerging technologies
  • Track and report on business development activities
  • Represent Inversion at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to the leadership team based on market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback
