Requirements

  • 7+ years’ experience consistently hitting goals in a consultative sales role with at least 2+ years in the oncology space
  • Experience selling real world evidence data, studies, and/or clinical trial recruitment solutions to life science companies (pharma, diagnostics, or CROs) required
  • Proven history of building successful relationships with biopharma managers and other high-level stakeholders within life science companies
  • Possession of strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate to executive level stakeholders both externally and internally
  • Able to work efficiently in a team oriented, candid and interdisciplinary setting; willing and open to contribute to the team in terms of personality and competence
  • Demonstrated ability to build a repeatable, scalable, and predictable sales process and infrastructure that drives sales growth within new and existing customers
  • Proven success in developing and implementing go-to-market strategy, selling customized solutions and driving transformational growth in a growth stage company environment
  • Experience working in a fast paced, high growth, startup environment
  • Good judgment/analytical thinking: able to differentiate and prioritize between critical and non-critical, assess implications and risks and initiate the appropriate steps for escalation as needed
  • Experience selling oncology-focused solutions into the life science space
  • Highly driven and motivated individual contributor, who is proactive and resourceful in identifying opportunities to drive business growth and is willing to take on any task necessary to achieve project goals and objectives
  • Ability to travel to clients, conferences, and to Boston as needed

Responsibilities

  • Grow the sales of Real-World Evidence (RWE), Outcomes Research, Real-World Data Studies and other related research services, as well as Clinical Trials Recruitment Solutions to manufacturers through strategic acquisition of new business and expansion of existing business that meet or exceeds sales objectives
  • Call on and secure relationships with senior leadership in Epidemiology, Primary and Secondary Research, Medical Affairs, Value and Evidence, HEOR, Marketing, Brand Management, Product Management, Managed Markets, Market Access, Data Analytics, Clinical Operations, Clinical Development and other areas within organizations
  • Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers within accounts and develop deep knowledge of the customer organization and product portfolio
  • Act as a primary point-of-contact for potential customers within Medical Affairs, HEOR, Global Evidence and Value, RWE/RWD, Clinical Operations, and Clinical Development departments
  • Develop the strategies needed to help development, medical and commercial teams and CROs make informed decisions through a consultative sales approach
  • Utilize forecasting and business analytical skills to take advantage of opportunities and to expand relationships
  • Manage and execute sales processes, effectively tracking opportunities and maintaining an up-to-date pipeline within Salesforce.com to ensure accurate forecasting and strategic account planning
  • Work closely with Product and Growth to ensure customers performance metrics are met/exceeded
  • Support the marketing team to identify and execute plans for market awareness, client case studies, and market growth within assigned accounts
  • Process necessary agreements and work orders
