Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in business development, preferably in a consulting, marketing, or research-driven environment
  • Proven success in generating 6-figure-dollar engagements, particularly with new clients or new business segments
  • Strong knowledge of consultative selling, stakeholder management, and contract negotiation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with senior executives, procurement teams, and legal partners
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, contributing to the growth of a dynamic, high-performing team

Responsibilities

  • Lead the sales process from prospecting through to contract negotiation, ensuring each stage is aligned with OGC’s high standards of service
  • Cultivate long-term partnerships with senior-level decision-makers, developing a deep understanding of their business challenges and helping them solve complex problems
  • Bring your expertise in consumer behavior, market trends, and business strategy to propose tailored solutions that address client needs
  • Use a consultative approach to guide clients in achieving their goals, whether through custom engagements or OGC’s suite of innovative solutions
  • Consistently meet and exceed annual revenue targets by securing six-figure-dollar deals with new clients and expanding existing accounts
  • Identify and pursue high-potential opportunities across diverse industries
  • Engage with clients, procurement teams, and legal departments to ensure smooth negotiations and the successful closure of contracts
  • Build trust with internal teams to ensure a seamless transition from sales to service delivery
  • Work closely with colleagues across OGC to own, project manage, and deliver strategic proposals, leveraging the expertise of the team
  • Regular updates to Hubspot, forecasting processes and reporting
