Summary

Join Vita Global Sciences as the Director of Business Development, a remote position leading the expansion of our Life Science business. You will manage territories, identify leads, create proposals, and deliver presentations. Success requires a consultative sales approach, building client relationships in Biotech and Pharma, and exceeding sales goals. You will also assist in recruiting and stay updated on industry trends. This role demands strong interpersonal skills, project management abilities, and the ability to quickly handle tasks and prioritize effectively.

Requirements

  • Possess experience creating successful staffing and hiring plans for Clinical, Biotech, and Pharma companies, with a deep understanding of clinical research and the private sector. Prior work with CROs is a plus
  • Have 4+ years of experience with outsourcing or working on project-based assignments
  • Have 4+ years of experience initiating and maintaining long-lasting client relationships and negotiating service contracts and fees
  • Have involvement in RFI (Request for Information) and RFP (Request for Proposal)
  • Possess knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and GCP (Good Clinical Practice)
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and organizational skills; create and efficiently execute revenue-generating marketing plans; implement daily action plans
  • Handle tasks quickly, prioritize effectively, and possess excellent interpersonal skills and project management abilities; work well with the sales team

Responsibilities

  • Employ a consultative selling approach when establishing relationships with clients in the Biotech and Pharma industries
  • Establish new client relationships to generate job requisitions for SOW (outsourcing) and FSP project-based opportunities
  • Build connections with potential clients through networking, cold and warm calls, and lead follow-up
  • Meet or exceed assigned Gross Profit and Start goals
  • Assist the internal recruiting team in evaluating job requirements and matching consultants with clients
  • Stay updated on industry and technology trends relevant to your supported sectors
