Summary
Join Vita Global Sciences as their Director of Business Development to lead the expansion of their EMEA division and Life Science business. This remote position requires excellent territory management, lead generation, proposal writing, and presentation skills. You will be responsible for establishing new client relationships, generating job requisitions, and meeting or exceeding assigned goals. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in staffing and hiring plans for Clinical, Biotech, and Pharma companies, with a deep understanding of clinical research and the private sector. Requirements
- Possess experience creating successful staffing and hiring plans for Clinical, Biotech, and Pharma companies, with a deep understanding of clinical research and the private sector. Prior work with CROs is a plus
- Have 4+ years of experience with outsourcing or working on project-based assignments
- Have 4+ years of experience initiating and maintaining long-lasting client relationships and negotiating service contracts and fees
- Demonstrate involvement in RFI (Request for Information) and RFP (Request for Proposal)
- Possess knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and GCP (Good Clinical Practice)
- Exhibit strong analytical and organizational skills; create and efficiently execute revenue-generating marketing plans; implement daily action plans
- Handle tasks quickly, prioritize effectively, and possess excellent interpersonal skills and project management abilities; work well with the sales team
Responsibilities
- Employ a consultative selling approach when initiating client relationships in the Biotech and Pharma industries
- Establish new client relationships to generate job requisitions for SOW (outsourcing) and FSP project-based opportunities
- Build connections with potential clients through networking, cold and warm calls, and lead follow-up
- Meet or exceed assigned Gross Profit and Start goals
- Assist the internal recruiting team in evaluating job requirements and matching consultants with clients
- Stay updated on industry and technology trends relevant to supported sectors
