Summary

Join Liftoff as a Director of Business Systems, reporting to the Deputy CFO. This pivotal role involves connecting strategy and communication across G&A and GTM teams, driving growth and innovation in the Global AdTech industry. You will oversee systems architecture and governance, including data architecture and MDM strategy, while ensuring compliance and performance. Key responsibilities include strategic leadership, governance and compliance, collaboration, systems optimization, change management, and team management. The position offers full-time remote work options with occasional travel and a competitive compensation package including equity and health benefits.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience, including experience in technology architecture, design and planning across a variety of technology stacks (including security, applications, database, infrastructure, integration, and cloud)
• 5-7 years of leadership experience
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related fields
• Proven experience of managing complex information technology platforms and integrations, and leading software engineering teams
• Expertise in aligning emerging technologies with business strategies and leading complex system integrations
• Solid knowledge of SaaS, PaaS, APIs, and microservices, with experience in cloud and on-premise ecosystems
• Proven ability to gather and translate business process requests into clear technical requirements, particularly in Finance, Sales, Marketing, and HR
• Exemplary communication skills, comfortable switching from a detailed technical lens, to higher level business-centric dialogue

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee the enterprise-wide systems roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices
• Establish and enforce governance standards and policies to maintain system & data integrity, system security, and system performance including defining data domains and data domain ownership
• Work collaboratively with IT teams and other key business contacts to clearly understand the business needs and technical requirements. Assist in advancing architecture projects and initiatives
• Drive business process improvements and lead integrated system design, ensuring scalable and proficient operations
• Develop strategies that maximize the impact of new technology deployments through effective adoption and user participation
• Manage business solutions teams, service providers, and architects to deliver innovative, end-to-end technology solutions
