As the Compliance Director, you will lead and drive the company’s global ethics, Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABAC) Compliance programs, export and sanctions compliance, and ensure the company functions legally and ethically while supporting its business goals.

Requirements

  • Experience in a compliance function in relation to FCPA/ABAC or related positions (including internal investigations, compliance training, and drafting and reviewing of compliance-related documents)
  • Experience in handling internal investigations
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a global compliance program
  • Analytical and process-oriented
  • Strong communication skills and credibility necessary to effectively influence employees
  • Integrity and sound judgment
  • Self-starter who can push corporate policies and procedures and is also a team player
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • English – mother tongue level

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy, implementation, and execution of NICE's global ABAC Program
  • Ensure compliance with ABAC regulations, and other relevant legislations
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain ABAC-related global policies and procedures
  • Enhance and carry out a risk assessment framework
  • Lead the cross-company third-party due diligence process of reviewing proposed business partners in accordance with company policy
  • Support the risk-based deal review and monitoring process, assisting in preventing and detecting potential violations of the FCPA and other international anti-corruption laws
  • Provide guidance on how to avoid or deal with various business situations and concerns
  • Provide reports on a regular basis, and keep the Compliance Officer informed of the operation and progress of global compliance efforts
  • Develop and present an effective global training program to employees, contractors and other relevant third parties, and update periodically
  • Support M&A activities from an ABAC perspective
  • Collaborate closely with employees and business partners to drive a culture of compliance and ethics
  • Coordinate with key cross-functional teams (e.g. Operations, Data Analytics) to ensure effective implementation and functioning of the ABAC Program
  • Identify weaknesses in controls through investigations, monitoring, audits or other sources and propose corrective actions
  • Ensure global and regional compliance methodology and programs are implemented and well documented to adequately demonstrate program effectiveness
  • Lead the Speak Up Program and internal investigations
  • Lead and enhance the Sanctions and Export restrictions program

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preferably an attorney or public accountant
  • Familiarity with the Enterprise Software industry
  • Familiarity with AI ethics, sanctions and export control laws and regulations
