You will set and execute a company-wide data strategy, build and lead a high-performing data team, oversee data infrastructure and governance, drive actionable insights and decision-making, and partner cross-functionally with leadership. The ideal candidate has led data teams at a high-growth SaaS or tech company, possesses deep experience in data architecture, analytics, and governance, and is proficient in modern data tools. Mentorship and collaboration are essential, as is the ability to translate complex findings into actionable insights.
Requirements
- You’ve led data teams at a high-growth SaaS or tech company, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution
- You bring deep experience in data architecture, analytics, and governance—alongside a strong point of view on how to scale these as a business grows
- You’ve had extensive experience working in modern data tools such as dbt, Looker, Snowflake/ BigQuery, and version-controlled workflows (e.g., Git)
- You’re AI-curious and excited about exploring how emerging technologies can drive data innovation, automate insights, and support smarter decision-making across the company
- You’re as excited about developing people as you are about modeling data—mentorship and collaboration are at the core of how you work
- You’re a natural storyteller who can translate complex findings into actionable insight for a range of audiences
Responsibilities
- Set and execute a company-wide data strategy aligned with business goals, emerging technologies, and evolving privacy standards
- Build and lead a high-performing data team, fostering a culture of curiosity, data literacy, and continuous improvement
- Oversee and evolve our data infrastructure and governance, ensuring systems are scalable, secure, and support reliable data access across teams
- Drive actionable insights and decision-making, guiding KPI development and nurturing our Looker environment as a trusted source of truth
- Partner cross-functionally with leadership to turn data into a strategic asset, uncover new opportunities, and champion innovation through analytics and AI
Benefits
- The salary range for this role is $206,000 - $225,000
