Summary

Join Constructor.io as the Director of Mid-Market Sales and lead a team of Account Executives. You will be responsible for the team's development and success, including training, hiring, and sales enablement. This role requires managing the sales process, developing sales reports, and collaborating with internal teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience selling enterprise SaaS solutions, managing sales teams, and closing large deals. A minimum of 6 years of sales experience and 2-3 years of sales management experience is required. Requirements

  • Have a minimum of at least 6 years of proven experience selling deeply technical enterprise SaaS solutions
  • Have a minimum of 2-3 years of sales management experience
  • Have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding your sales numbers in a market that is highly competitive
  • Experience in managing teams with a hands-on, value-led approach within complex cycles that require ongoing strategy and tactical planning sessions
  • Have experience building the consensus and urgency in customer organizations needed to close six- and seven-figure deals
  • Have experience with 120+ days deal cycles
  • Are skilled at negotiating business terms with line-of-business, procurement and contract teams, senior management and/or C-level executives
  • Have a proven ability in managing complex, enterprise sales cycles from start to finish, from business champion to the CEO level – effectively demonstrating the product and the business and economic benefits to each stakeholder group
  • Must have a Bachelor's degree

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Account Executives
  • Train and develop Account Executives - hiring, onboarding and ongoing sales enablement
  • Identify key figures and inflection points in deals
  • Stay on top of emerging trends
  • Collaborate with internal C-level, Engineering, and Customer Success
  • Ensure your team of Mid-Market AEs run a tight sales process
  • Develop and report on sales/pipeline reports to the VP of Sales

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous Sales Methodology training, SaaS Performance Management or Applications experience, and strong customer references preferred
  • Marketing technology experience and experience selling to large enterprise retail brands
