Summary

Join roadsurfer as a Business Operations Manager in North America to oversee financial performance, manage revenue, costs, and profitability, and drive growth strategies. Work closely with the North America team and global leadership to tailor offerings for the market, build strategic partnerships, and drive customer acquisition.

Requirements

• MBA in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field required
• At least 6-8 years of experience in commercial management, with a strong track record of managing P&L and driving business growth, ideally in the travel, tourism, or outdoor industries

Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimize the North American Profit & Loss statement, driving revenue growth while managing costs
• Ensure smooth operations, including fleet management, customer service, and regulatory compliance
• Continuously improve service quality using customer feedback
• Develop and implement growth strategies, identifying new markets, partnerships, and expansion opportunities
• Lead sales strategies, pricing models, and marketing efforts tailored to the North American market
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships to enhance market presence
• Provide insights on performance, risks, and opportunities to the global leadership team
• Adapt and implement existing processes from the European market to suit the North American region

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with companies based in Germany or the European Union is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of the North American market, including consumer behavior, regulations, and competitive landscape
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Strategic thinker, comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Passion for travel, adventure, and the outdoors is a plus
