Join iManage as the Director of Portfolio Marketing and lead a team driving go-to-market execution for SaaS and AI products. You will partner with Product Management, Sales, and Growth Marketing, developing and implementing product positioning, messaging, and pricing strategies. Requirements
- 15+ years of B2B SaaS product marketing experience, preferably in scaling organizations with multi-product portfolios
- Proven leadership in portfolio marketing, product positioning, and competitive differentiation across multiple segments and geographies
- Experience leading specialist teams, ensuring product marketing functions such as competitive intelligence, sales enablement, and messaging development are well-executed and deliver business impact
- Strong experience partnering with VP of Product and Sales Leadership, driving alignment between product roadmaps, GTM strategy, and market execution
- An ability to work cross-functionally with Corporate Marketing, Growth, Sales Enablement, and Partner Marketing teams to drive alignment
- A data-driven approach to market segmentation, messaging, and strategic positioning, with expertise in translating insights into go-to-market execution
- An ability to work in fast-paced, high-growth environments, balancing strategy, execution, and cross-functional leadership
Responsibilities
- Take ownership and pride in ensuring market success as measured by pipeline and revenue growth for each of the product segments
- Define and implement product positioning and messaging frameworks that clearly articulate differentiated value propositions across verticals, personas, and regions
- Partner with Product Management to shape product strategies and launch plans, ensuring alignment with market opportunities, customer needs, and competitive differentiation
- Lead the development of pricing, packaging, and marketing strategies to drive awareness and thought leadership, pipeline expansion, and revenue growth
- Establish portfolio-level messaging and strategy, integrating individual products into a cohesive value proposition that aligns with company priorities and market needs
- Ensure the organization has a robust market research and competitive intelligence function, partnering with specialists to deliver customer insights, industry trends, and competitive analysis that inform product and go-to-market strategies
- Partner with the Insights Director to ensure Portfolio Marketing has the research and intelligence needed to inform positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies—leveraging customer insights, industry trends, and competitive analysis alongside broader market research initiatives
- Oversee segmentation strategy that enables the organization to prioritize marketing, product and sales focus
- Develop messaging framework based on data and insights to drive clarity and consistency of messaging across multiple channels
- Act as the strategic partner to Product Management and Sales Leadership, ensuring product marketing aligns with product roadmaps, sales priorities, and go-to-market execution
- Ensure portfolio marketing efforts align with Growth Marketing to define the strategy for Global Campaigns to drive awareness, demand generation, and partner engagement
- Work closely with the Corporate Marketing Director, ensuring that content strategy, thought leadership and brand positioning are aligned with broader corporate messaging and content strategy
- Collaborate with Partner Marketing to ensure consistent positioning and messaging across resellers, implementation partners, and technology alliances
- Contribute to executive and industry thought leadership, working closely with the Corporate Marketing Director to position the company as a trusted leader in key markets through analyst relations, speaking engagements, and high-impact content
- Develop strategic narratives and content that reinforce market leadership while aligning with brand and content initiatives
- Translate deep industry knowledge into high-impact content, executive narratives, and market-facing positioning that reinforces iManage as the leader in knowledge work and AI
- Lead Product and Analyst Relations to ensure iManage is well-positioned in industry reports, briefings, and analyst evaluations
- Work in close partnership with the Sales Enablement team (within RevOps) to provide the portfolio marketing component of enablement, ensuring Sales is equipped with tools, insights, and training that communicate product and portfolio value propositions effectively
- Contribute to the development of competitive battle cards, sales playbooks, and objection-handling guides that support sales effectiveness
- Work with Enablement / Rev Ops, providing ongoing training and enablement materials to ensure sales teams are fluent in messaging, competitive positioning, and GTM strategies
- Build, develop, and lead a team of specialists focused on key growth areas, ensuring that portfolio marketing delivers impact across research, competitive intelligence, enablement, and demand generation support
- Mentor and develop talent, ensuring that the team is set up to scale and meet evolving business needs
- Foster a collaborative, insight-driven, and high-performing marketing culture
- Ensure the team is actively deepening expertise in critical areas, staying ahead of market trends, AI advancements, and customer needs
- Track and measure marketing effectiveness, optimizing messaging, positioning, and go-to-market execution based on data-driven insights
- Continuously refine strategies based on campaign performance, product adoption trends, and sales feedback to ensure continued alignment with business goals
