Summary

Join Counterpart Health as the Director of Product Management for Clinical User Experience and lead a team in building Counterpart Assistant, a clinical copilot for primary care physicians. You will define and execute the product strategy for clinical workflows, ensuring seamless integration into PCPs' daily routines. Responsibilities include managing a team of product managers, prioritizing the roadmap, collaborating with cross-functional teams, staying updated on industry trends, and serving as a subject matter expert on clinical documentation and healthcare professional workflows. Success involves achieving high physician satisfaction, leading a motivated team, and contributing to market leadership in value-based care solutions. The role requires extensive experience in product management within healthcare technology, a deep understanding of primary care workflows, and strong leadership skills. Remote work is indicated.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years in healthcare technology
  • Deep understanding of primary care workflows, including clinical documentation (SOAP notes, EHR documentation), roles and responsibilities of healthcare professionals (physicians, MAs), and challenges faced by small to large practices
  • Proven track record of building and launching successful healthcare products in primary care settings
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of product managers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and execution
  • Define and champion the product initiatives, strategy, and roadmap for Counterpart Assistant's Clinical User Experience product pillar
  • Work with the pods and PMs to prioritize and manage the roadmap, ensuring alignment with the overall product strategy and company goals
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, clinical, and data science teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in primary care and value-based care to identify opportunities and unmet needs in primary care settings
  • Work with multiple product teams and projects ranging from provider facing point of care tools, evaluations, operational workflow tools, compliance and regulatory products, and critical vendor integrations
  • Be the subject matter expert and domain leader for all things clinical documentation (SOAP notes, EHR documentation, ambient scribing), roles, responsibilities and practice workflows of healthcare professionals (physicians, nurses, MAs, front desk, care coordination, scribes, etc)

Preferred Qualifications

Understanding of practice payments, ideally experience with value-based care models and technologies
