Summary

Join Ontic as a Director of Product Management and lead the product strategy and execution for our physical security product lines. You will build and mentor a team of product managers, define the product vision, and develop a compelling roadmap aligned with company objectives. Collaborate with engineering, design, sales, and customer success teams to deliver high-quality products. Champion the end-user experience through various methods, and maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape. Oversee the full product lifecycle, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with KPIs. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills, along with experience in product management and security technology. Requirements

8–12+ years in product management with at least 3 years in a leadership role

Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Vision: Define and evolve the vision and strategy for our physical security products, incorporating market research, customer insights, and emerging trends
  • Roadmap Ownership: Develop and communicate a compelling product roadmap aligned with company objectives and cross-functional stakeholder needs
  • Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a team of product managers. Foster a culture of product excellence, collaboration, and accountability
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with engineering, design, GTM, sales, and customer success to deliver high-quality products and drive market adoption
  • Voice of the Customer: Champion the end-user experience through discovery, customer advisory boards, field visits, and user testing
  • Market Intelligence: Maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape, regulatory requirements, and partner ecosystem in the physical security domain
  • Lifecycle Management: Oversee the full product lifecycle—from ideation to launch to sunset—ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with KPIs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Domain expertise in Security Technology, such as incident management, or enterprise security software preferred
  • Proven success launching and scaling complex B2B software products
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills grounded in data and user feedback
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth, or startup environments
  • Familiarity with AI/ML applications in security or related industries is a plus
