Director of Product Management

Summary

Join Radformation, a company aiming to improve global cancer care through automated treatment planning, as their Director of Product Management. This remote position, based in the Eastern Time Zone, requires a highly motivated leader passionate about radiation therapy. You will oversee nine Product Managers, ensuring products deliver exceptional value and meet market demands. The role involves product lifecycle management, market research, strategic planning, and cross-functional team alignment. Collaboration with the Director of Product Quality and Regulatory Affairs is crucial for ensuring quality and compliance. This position offers the opportunity to drive innovation and improve efficiency in radiation oncology clinics worldwide.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of software product management experience, including ownership of strategy, roadmap, and delivery across multiple products or product lines
• Minimum 3 years in a software product leadership role, directly managing and mentoring product managers and product management teams and driving cross-functional alignment
• Verification and/or validation testing management and completion
• Regulatory and/or Quality Management System experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage product timelines, workflows, and major strategic decisions to drive product trajectory and release schedules
• Monitor and analyze product progress, ensuring timely feature implementation and identifying bottlenecks
• Lead and mentor Product Managers, fostering innovation and continuous process improvements to optimize product workflows
• Collaborate cross-functionally - including with Regulatory Affairs and the Director of Product Quality - to align market requirements with quality standards and regulatory requirements
• Manage administrative tasks such as hiring, headcount, and onboarding
• Track support channels and key performance metrics to identify adoption challenges and develop actionable improvement plans
• Coordinate strategic partnerships, cross-team resources, and release calendars to enhance product design, quality, and overall performance
• Oversee documentation generation for product release

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years experience as a clinical medical physicist using Radformation products
• Personnel management experience
• Product management with Jira or similar product management software
• Experience with multiple treatment planning systems
• Experience using Visual Studios or similar coding software
• Programming experience using C#
• Customer service experience
