Requirements

  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, with at least 7 years of experience in tech recruiting
  • Strong understanding of software industry trends and ability to attract top technical talent
  • Well-spoken, strong written presence to effectively engage with candidates and stakeholders at all levels
  • Competitive, not easily discouraged
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies that align with organizational goals
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess recruiting metrics and make data-driven decisions
  • Experience in building and nurturing relationships with diverse talent pools and industry networks to enhance recruitment efforts

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and enhance the current strategic recruiting plans to meet the human capital needs of the organization
  • Oversee the recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience
  • Lead, train and mentor the talent acquisition team to ensure they meet their individual and team objectives including one on ones, growth plans and career tracks
  • Collaborate with department managers to understand their hiring needs and goals, and develop job descriptions and hiring criteria
  • Helping enhance and scale our processes for sourcing and attracting top-tier talent
  • Monitoring and applying HR recruiting best practices, staying informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques
  • Reporting and keeping track of recruitment metrics and taking steps to improve them
  • Drive relationships in the tech industry and promote Midwestern at events, fairs and other events as Company sees fit
