Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in resource management or a similar role within a professional services organization
• Proficiency in resource management software and tools
• Understanding of project management methodologies and principles
• A strategic perspective, with the ability to think proactively and implement resource management strategies that align with organizational goals
• Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive resource plan aligned with business goals, optimizing utilization by balancing workload and skill sets
• Implement forecasting models and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adequate resource availability and project success
• Lead operational excellence initiatives by streamlining daily operations, enhancing workflow efficiency, and utilizing data analytics to optimize resource allocation
• Identify and mitigate resource-related risks, developing contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges
• Establish and track KPIs to measure resource effectiveness, conducting performance reviews and driving process improvements
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiating contracts to enhance cost-effectiveness and ensure compliance with policies
• Oversee financial management, including budgeting, expense monitoring, and financial reporting to support informed decision-making
• Lead and develop a high-performing resourcing team, providing coaching, mentorship, and career development opportunities to foster growth and ensure alignment with organizational goals

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification in resource management (RMCP) or project management (PMP)
• Experience utilizing resource management software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
• Strong financial acumen and ability to analyze resource-related costs and budgets
• Experience in managing remote or geographically dispersed teams
