Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Biomechanics, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
  • Proven experience in technical sales and business development within the motion capture or related technology sectors, including demonstrated success in a leadership role
  • Deep understanding of motion capture technology, its applications, and industry trends, with a focus on biomechanics and markerless systems
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth in the motion capture industry
  • Strong technical knowledge of motion capture systems and biomechanics, including familiarity with tools like Visual3D and KinaTrax Dugout
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, particularly within the biomechanics community and sports industry
  • Ability to analyze complex technical data and market trends to develop effective strategies
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges
  • Passion for technology, innovation, and driving positive change in the motion capture field
  • Ability to thrive within a wider team
  • Ability to travel extensively to meet with clients, attend industry events, and participate in trade shows

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales and business development strategies to drive growth and achieve revenue targets for KinaTrax’s motion capture products and services
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within key sectors such as sports, research, entertainment, and virtual reality
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats within the motion capture industry
  • Position yourself as a trusted expert in biomechanics, leveraging your knowledge and experience to build credibility and foster trust within the biomechanics community
  • Provide expert-level technical guidance and support throughout the sales process, including product demonstrations and client presentations
  • Effectively contrast KinaTrax's markerless motion capture technology with both traditional marker-based systems and leading markerless providers to highlight its advantages
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry leaders, and strategic partners to drive market expansion and enhance KinaTrax’s presence
  • Engage with biomechanics professionals and influencers to ensure alignment with their needs and expectations
  • Maintain long-term customer relationships, including regular onsite visits to foster trust and satisfaction
  • Offer guidance on the design and setup of motion capture laboratories, including advising on aspects like force plate installation
  • Work closely with senior management to align business development efforts with KinaTrax’s overall strategic objectives
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of motion capture products based on market trends and customer feedback
  • Collaborate with operations, product management, and R&D teams to ensure alignment between sales efforts, product capabilities, and market needs
  • Maintain and create content for social media accounts to engage with the industry and promote KinaTrax’s brand
  • Leverage your network to identify and attract new talent to the organization, contributing to the company’s growth and innovation
  • Proactively seek opportunities to strengthen client relationships by visiting nearby customers or prospects during sales site trips

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced degrees or certifications in motion capture technology or business management are advantageous
