Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years in product management, with at least 2 years in leadership role. Proven success managing and scaling product teams in an Agile environment
  • Leadership: A servant-leader mindset with a track record of coaching and developing high-performing teams
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to connect the dots between market trends, customer needs, and business objectives to craft compelling product strategies
  • Execution Excellence: Skilled at breaking down complex problems into clear, actionable plans. Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities
  • Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of software development and ability to engage deeply with engineering teams
  • Communication: Exceptional communicator who can influence across all levels of the organization, from engineers to executives
  • Business Impact: Demonstrated ability to drive product success and profitability through strategic planning and execution
  • Education: Bachelorโ€™s degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Math) or equivalent experience. MBA is a plus
  • Responsible for Granicus information security by appropriately preserving the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of Granicus information assets in accordance with the company's information security program
  • Responsible for ensuring the data privacy of our employees and customers, their data, as well as taking all required privacy training in a timely manner, in accordance with company policies

Responsibilities

  • Define and Drive Strategy: Translate Granicusโ€™s 3โ€“5 year vision into a clear, actionable product roadmap aligned with business goals, customer needs, and financial outcomes
  • Lead and Inspire: Manage, mentor, and grow a team of Product Managers, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Own the Roadmap: Prioritize initiatives based on business impact, customer value, and technical feasibility. Make informed trade-offs to maximize ROI and product profitability
  • Champion the User: Advocate for user-centric design and data-driven decision-making. Leverage analytics, customer feedback, and market research to guide product direction
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with Engineering, Design, Implementation, Support, Customer Success, and Sales to ensure seamless product delivery and go-to-market execution
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Establish and refine product management processes, tools, and best practices to scale product development effectively
  • Be a Thought Leader: Represent Granicus externally and internally as a product evangelist, articulating our vision and value proposition to stakeholders and customers

Preferred Qualifications

Bonus: Experience working in a private equity-backed environment is a strong plus
