Summary

The job is for a Public Policy Director at Epic Games, responsible for building strategic relationships with government officials in the Americas. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree in law, policy, or other relevant discipline preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in public policy or government relations. Experience in Canada and/or Latin American countries is helpful

Responsibilities

  • Monitor policy and political trends throughout the Americas and develop engagement recommendations to share with Epic teams
  • Partner with public policy colleagues to identify opportunities and risks with respect to core policy priorities such as competition and online safety
  • Partner with public policy and communications team colleagues to develop and execute public affairs outreach
  • Develop external narratives and talking points, organize briefings and strategic programs that support Epic’s policy efforts
  • Engage with local trade associations to advance Epic’s policy positions with the broader industry

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within governments, think tanks, public interest groups, industry trade groups and/or relevant corporations
  • Track record of successful execution; ability to help develop and implement programs and processes
  • Forward-thinking and strategic approach to engaging with government and other policy stakeholders
  • A thoughtful team player who can collaborate cross-functionally to understand business goals, and identify global legislative and regulatory opportunities and risks
