Summary

This strategic leadership role involves overseeing the entire talent acquisition function, managing a team, and partnering with company leaders. You will be responsible for full-cycle recruiting, building cross-functional partnerships, designing recruiting strategies and processes, optimizing the applicant tracking system, and managing external partnerships. The position requires significant experience in recruiting, particularly within high-growth startups, and a demonstrated ability to build scalable, data-driven processes. Requirements

  • 5+ yrs of recruiting experience, including 2+ yrs leading recruiting at a high-growth start up
  • Demonstrated track record of and passion for building out repeatable and data-driven recruitment processes
  • Experience hiring for global teams, with a strong understanding of regional nuances, particularly in LATAM & Asia
  • Comfortable being in the weeds on searches while also juggling long-term strategic projects
  • Strong communicator who can build relationships across departments, creating a collaborative approach to talent acquisition and management
  • Experience with high-volume recruiting and using technology tools to scale processes effectively

Responsibilities

  • Own every stage of the recruitment process, from sourcing to offer roll-out, ensuring that we attract and hire the best talent across all teams
  • Collaborate directly with Engineering, Sales, Product, Customers and Operations leaders to fill open roles in North America and international regions
  • Partner with Kojoโ€™s COO to maintain and enhance scalable, efficient and data-driven recruiting processes - from sourcing strategies, to candidate feedback and offer packets. Improving processes as needed to support growth
  • Design and implement processes within Ashby, Kojoโ€™s applicant tracking system, to ensure smooth workflows and candidate experience
  • Oversee relationships with 3rd-parties search firms and consultants
  • Lead a team of contract sourcers to meet hiring goals in 2025 and beyond, ensuring your team is set up for success in scaling the organization
  • Design a best-in-class recruiting and interview process that will be followed across all searches
  • Create, track, and report on key performance metrics (KPIs) that align with recruitment objectives, such as time-to-hire, offer acceptance rate, and candidate quality
  • Partner directly with People Operations to support onboarding, engagement, and other employee initiatives to ensure a seamless experience for new hires

Preferred Qualifications

  • Past experience reporting to C-Suite level preferred
  • Familiarity with employer branding initiatives to attract top talent and create a compelling narrative about Kojoโ€™s culture

  • The salary for this position is $160,000-$175,000 (USD/CAD dependent on region), commensurate with experience
